Young Guru premiered the Remix on SXSW last weekend and today we got the Studio Version of Young Hov and Kendrick Lamar’s collaboration.However i felt it was missing something so i added Lady Gaga’s Chorus to the Remix to make it sound more of a remix.

I know a lot of people were anticipating this record since the promo clip for it drop about 5 weeks ago.
And i also knew that a lot of people weren’t happy about finding out that 50′s new Protege Kidd Kidd would join the party with Kendrick Lamar,so i decided to remove Kidd Kidd’s far from enjoyable verse off the record and added 50′s 2nd Verse from the preview to the Album Version.

Kendrick Lamar – Fuckin’ Problems [Smu's Extended Mix]

Kendrick Lamar appeared on this record alongside ASAP Rocky,2Chainz and Drake. The Album Version contained the first verse that you can hear on this mix,however he recorded a 2nd Verse that didn’t make the cut but found it’s way onto a Remix of the record by Westcoast artist Richie Wess.
That’s why i figured that i should blend them together to make this a Kendrick Lamar Solo for all those that didn’t like the original recording.

The Hip Hop Fan & DJ Smu – She Don’t Put It Down Like You [Remix]

So since the last time i hit y’all up with something new i was cooking up this joint with my homie The Hip Hop Fan as we are preparing to release our first ever collabo mixtape. The current work-title for the mixtape is “We Didn’t Invent The Remix But We Sure As Hell Bodied It” (Hella random but that’s the best i came up with.)

Anyhow this is our very first offering of said project and it’s none other than Joe Budden’s latest single “She Don’t Put It Down Like You”.
We added Twista,Jay-Z,Eminem and 50 Cent to the mix and kept Tank’s Hook intact.

Nas & AZ – Life’s A Bitch [Smu Remix] (Produced by Will Sessions)

I was listening to Elzhi’s Elmatic Mixtape the entire day today then kept the Instrumentals rolling on Vinyl and thought: “Man how dope would it be to blend Nas and AZ over the Will Sessions Instrumental?”

So I sat down studied the pattern of the beat for like an hour and then went ahead and tweaked the acapellas so it would fit eventually.

This is the outcome of the 2 1/2 hour Session.
